TechMentor Advanced Robotics is a one-year program designed for secondary school students who are ready to take Robotics to the next level.
In this program, a team of 4 members will participate in various training that utilises the NI myRIO and LabVIEW as the core controller and software to construct a viable robot that is able to solve specific problems.
Students will learn how to use the NI myRIO platform and LabVIEW. The NI myRIO is an advanced tool designed for undergraduates and industries to build prototypes whereas LabVIEW is an advanced version of EV3 software where it is used across many manufacturing industries including: aerospace, automotive and semiconductor.
Not only that, students will have opportunity to experience 3D modelling, 3D printing, and handling various woodworking power tools to build their robot.
Students with prior experience in constructing and programming with Lego Robotics EV3 and keen interest in robotics in general.
Students must also come from national schools (SMK, SMJK etc.).
