We are pleased to have an industrial expert to share his passion about embedded Linux and providing introductory sharing on Linux kernel, Open Embedded Core, Yocto Project.
An industrial adjunct lecture on Embedded Linux Development providing introductory sharing on Linux kernel, Open Embedded Core, Yocto Project. Through this introductory workshop, attendees will be exposed to how Linux-based OS can scale to support small embedded platform like Intel Galileo to big data center platform? Attendees will also be exposed to the skillsets that should be equipped by those who aspire to become an embedded software engineer in MNC in Penang e.g. Intel.
This is an opening lecture on Embedded Linux Development which will be followed by a series of workshops focusing on building up participants to be able to customize Linux kernel, use de-factor software version tool – git, create your own embedded Linux distro on Intel-based Galileo platform through Yocto Project in the course of 5-6 months.
Please bring along a laptop if participants want to capture some notes during lecture and do some web-searching.
