Do you know how a bridge is built? In this workshop, participants will get to construct a bridge which can hold a certain weight, given limited and available materials.
This workshop is a hands-on bridge building puzzle. Using beams, wood and sticks to construct a bridge that can withstand weights.
Participant will learn the geometry and structural importance of a truss which allows it to be used to make bridges. Participants will work in groups to design, build, and test the strength of their own small wooden bridge. Participants will know the importance of materials used and the structure of the bridge.
