Gliders, also known as sailplanes are any motorless aircraft capable of stable unpowered flight, even if over just a short distance. This workshop offers fun and practical ways to learn basic aerodynamics by building and flying their DIY Gliders. Participants will be guided to design and build their own simple gliders using easily available materials. They will learn techniques to trim their completed gliders for good indoors or outdoors flight. The workshop is also a prelude to a proposed radio control airplane building and flying workshops.
