Our first Penang Science Cafe @ Krystal Point started with our first workshop on 14 Dec 2013, and officially opened by Penang’s Chief Minister on 18 April’2014.
Penang Science Cafe is meant to be a public social space for all members of our community to come together to have fun learning, interacting and making science-related stuff.
Workshops are held here regularly and open to all members of the public.
However, some workshops may be specially requested by schools or companies and therefore, not open to the public. Please click on the Workshops link to find out the workshops that are available and open for registration.
Members of the public are welcome to use all the other facilities available, including a meeting room, discussion area, learning platforms and makerspace for projects.
You are welcome to conduct your workshops at our space and use our facilities. Feel free to contact us for more details
